Lamb “Kapama”

Serves 6

  • 1.5 Kgr Lamb leg
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 3 spoonfuls butter
  • 4-5 ripe tomatoes
  • Salt & pepper
  • A pinch of cinnamon
  • A pinch of sugar

Cut the lamb in portions. Simmer the onion in a frying pan. Add the butter and brown lightly. Add the tomatoes, grated (remove the seeds if possible) cinnamon, sugar, salt & pepper and a liitle water and simmer for ~1.5 hr.
